Shot in the caverns underneath Spitalfields market, this pop promo was the patient result of the crew and the band Tiger Lillies - especially the singer Martin Jacques whose patience must have been sorely tested!
Firstly, the song was transcripted onto audio and analysed frame by frame to determine precisely which syllable was being sung. A very long shooting script was generated which detailed every single frame to be shot and the syllable to be enunciated on that frame. The shoot took 3 days to complete and was a great success upon completion. The band, which already had cult status by this stage began to have more and more tv exposure and gained great international reputation - both musically and theatrically.
